I prepared this presentation as part of a six-part series for the volunteers that conduct the monthly butterfly survey at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.  It is intended to cover only the grass skippers that we’ve encountered, or expect to encounter, at the refuge.  Although it doesn’t cover species not found on the refuge it would be instructive to others on how to approach this confusing butterfly subfamily.
