On June 20, 2009, from dusk until about 11:00 p.m. I set up a light sheet to attract moths.  The light sheet, a white bed sheet stretched over a line and a black light, brought in a constant stream of insects.  I photographed and tentatively identified eighteen moths species and one moth to its genus.  Additionally, an unidentified beetle and a Summer Fishfly, “Chauliodes pectinicornis’” came to the light.

On June 26, 2010 I operated the same light sheet from dusk until 11:30 p.m.   The flight was much slower but I photographed 24 species and identified 19.  All but about four  were different from 2009.
